Harrison 18 is just one of a wide range of residential
projects Designed and Constructed by PBS for Defence
Housing Australia (DHA).
Built in Harrison, a suburb of Gungahlin in the ACT, this
particular project consisted of 18 homes which were
uniquely designed.
All homes are brick veneer with various external
finishes including face brick, render and cladding. The
homes consist of 4 bedrooms, ensuites and generous
living areas designed to suit open-plan family living.
PBS undertook a full Design and Construct role on this
project which included drafting initial plans through
to individual handover of each home and successful
completion of PBS’s Defect Liability Period.
One of the most challenging aspects of the project
was the 22 week time frame, however by leveraging
local knowledge, efficient procurement and innovative
construction techniques PBS completed the project 5
weeks ahead of schedule.
