The Quarterdecks, located in Hervey Bay Queensland,
is an integrated development featuring 61 townhouses,
pool, spa, BBQ and entertaining areas.
The townhouses feature 2 and 3-bedroom designs,
with internal access to single or double garage and
private courtyards.
The townhouses were constructed using slab on
ground construction techniques, with various types of
light weight cladding to the timber frame. Smart use
of colour, external screens and hard wood materials
enhance the overall design and complement the
coastal setting.
Inclusions consist of day/night zoned air-conditioning,
audio intercom, granite bench tops, polyurethane
joinery, stainless steel appliances, quality carpets and
soft furnishings.
The award winning landscape design incorporates
clever use of drought resistant plants and existing
palm trees.
In July 2007 The Quarterdecks won 2 MBA awards for
the Wide Bay Burnett Region in the following categories:
