Officeworks is a retail building comprising shop front,
offices and basement car parking, located in
Braddon, ACT.
Braddon is a well established location in the heart of
Canberra’s CBD. The location produced a number of
physical constraints which added to the complexity
of the project, including working within the tight
boundaries in which the building was erected and
restrictions from neighbouring property.
The building consists of 2 basement level car parks, one
retail level on the ground floor and a mezzanine level to
accommodate offices.
The building structure comprises a structural steel
frame, painted precast concrete panels and ultrafloor
slab.
The project was completed 2 weeks ahead of
schedule allowing the tenant to commence trade earlier
than anticipated.
