The Bay Plaza Shopping Centre project was an extension
of an existing shopping complex located on the corner of
Torquay Road and Taylor Street, in Hervey Bay.
An additional 4 tenancies totalling 1200m2 of new retail
space was added to the complex.
All existing tenancies remained operational during
construction, including a highly popular pharmacy.
Challenges associated with the project included the fast
track nature of the design and construction, intensive
liaison with local authorities and existing tenants, and
ensuring public safety at all times.
