PBS Building is currently constructing ‘Vine’ at Discovery Point, Stage 4 of Australand’s master plan at Wolli Creek.
The project is located adjacent to the Wolli Creek train station and being only 12 minutes to the City, this residential apartment block is a commuters dream. The project was undertaken on a design and construction basis and utilises a fully framed post-tensioned structure to maintain the architects open plan vision.
The Project involves complex co-ordination issues with a shared diaphragm basement sub-structure with adjoining stages, SRA railway corridor and community liaison issues with owners and residents of the adjoining completed stage. The scope also includes the extension of Brodie Spark Drive to future stages.
Vine offers a range of architecturally designed 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with views across the extensive parklands, the City and the Cooks River. The 17 storey building consists of 4 storeys of below ground car parking, 12 storeys of apartments and a rooftop services area. The contemporary 88 units are fitted out with slick stone
bench tops, European appliances , spacious balconies, 2.7 metre high ceilings to the living areas and louvred
sliding panels for privacy and solar control.
