Located in Canberra’s north, Gungahlin College has been designed to accommodate approximately 900 year 11 and 12 students, a Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) Learning Centre and a joint college and community library.

The college will provide contemporary, high quality facilities that will encourage modern approaches to teaching and
learning, with the ability to adapt to new approaches and technologies into the future.
A key design objective for the project is sustainablity and the design has included a number of environmentally
sustainable features aimed at achieving a 5 star rating under the Australian Green Building Councils rating system 
for educational facilities.
